Innovative leadership in Healthcare and Biotech
Over 30 years ago, GBGA founders — Swiss Philippe Glatz and Brazilian Luiz Gonzaga Coelho — met at Clinique de Grangettes in Geneva over a common passion: technological innovation focused on human beings.
Gonzaga’s creative entrepreneurship together with Philippe’s visionary strategic thinking turned this successful partnership into a solid series of projects born of their innovative leadership.
Numerous companies sprung out of their interests in areas as diverse as healthcare, information technology, biotech and high-tech manufacturing, among others.
In 2002 their scope expanded to Brazil, with new businesses bearing on their Swiss know-how. Beyond this fruitful entrepreneurial experience, GBGA’s founders also have maintained strong ties with academia, business associations, as well as political movements in Switzerland, Brazil and abroad, positively impacting social and economic development of communities around their businesses.
With the approaching maturation of their other endeavors, Philippe and Gonzaga envisioned GBGA as their next stage of their contributive business life: a holding and bespoke service aimed at opening up Brazilian markets to the most promising products and innovations from Swiss and European companies.
